(London, Ontario) – The Fanshawe Falcons men's basketball team (0-2) hosted their home opener at the Glenn Johnston Athletic Centre against the visiting St. Clair Saints (1-0), falling by a score of 82–51.
The Falcons opened strong, with six different players contributing in the first quarter to take a 19–15 lead into the second. Fanshawe continued to receive balanced scoring throughout the first half and trailed just 33–29 at the break. However, St. Clair took control in the second half as the Falcons struggled to generate consistent offence.
The Falcons men's basketball team will look to get back on track in their next home game against the Canadore Panthers on Sunday, October 26, at 1:00 p.m. at the Glenn Johnston Athletic Centre.
