(London, Ontario) – The Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) announced the men's volleyball league award winners for the 2025–26 season.
Fifth-year senior Jayden Crowther (London, ON) has made the OCAA First All-Star Team his home throughout his career with the Falcons, earning the honour for the fourth consecutive season. Crowther enjoyed the most efficient season of his career in 2025–26, posting a career-best .425 kill percentage (fifth in the OCAA) while averaging 1.89 kills per set for a total of 87 on the season. A key element of Crowther's impact year after year has been his defensive play. While primarily filling the middle position in the Falcons lineup, Crowther saw more time on the outside this season and recorded a career-high 0.76 digs per set, while still tallying 22 blocks, good for 0.50 blocks per set. Crowther will finish his career with the Falcons ranked third all-time in career points (569.5), second all-time in career blocks (140), and tied for fifth all-time in career service aces (44) in Fanshawe history.
Another fifth-year senior, Tanner Paterson (Baden, ON), has also been a mainstay on the OCAA All-Star Teams throughout his career. Paterson was named an OCAA Second Team All-Star for the third consecutive season and was previously a First Team All-Star in the 2022–23 season. Paterson led the Falcons in both kills (126) and points (168.5) this year. His service game has long been a weapon, and in 2025–26 he posted a career-best 0.66 service aces per set, ranking first in the OCAA. His 33 service aces on the season placed him second overall in the conference. Paterson will exit Fanshawe as a Falcons men's volleyball legend, holding the programs all-time career records in points (826), kills (662), and service aces (99).
First-year Falcon Andrew Smith (London, ON) earned a spot on the OCAA All-Rookie Team. The rookie setter averaged 1.47 assists per set, totaling 56 assists on the season. Playing on a deep and experienced roster, Smith made the most of his limited opportunities and delivered a strong debut campaign
