Fanshawe Soccer OCAA Award Winners Announced
(London, Ontario) – Seven Fanshawe Falcons Soccer players were honoured for their accomplishments this season as the OCAA handed out their 2017 soccer league awards.
(London, Ontario) – Seven Fanshawe Falcons Soccer players were honoured for their accomplishments this season as the OCAA handed out their 2017 soccer league awards.
Mike Sneddon – OCAA West Division Rookie of the Year:
In his first season with Fanshawe, Sneddon (Mount Brydges, ON), had an impressive season at striker for the Falcons. He had a team high 9 goals in 10 games, good for second place in OCAA West Division scoring.
Sheree Uyl – OCAA West Division Scoring Champion:
Uyl (Blyth, ON) finished with an OCAA West Division high 12 goals in only seven games. She scored an incredible six goals in the Falcons 11-0 win against Redeemer on September 23, which tied the Fanshawe Women's Soccer single game scoring record (J. Kovacevic, 2016).
