Dredge Named to OCAA West Division Team

(London, Ontario) – The Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) announced the 2024-25 Women's Soccer league awards today.

Fanshawe first-year striker Maddy Dredge (London, ON) was named to both the OCAA West Division Second All-Star Team, as well as the OCAA West Division All-Rookie Team. Dredge started in nine of ten games in her debut season as a Falcon. In her ten games played, she recorded three goals and two assists, leading the Birds in both categories.

The Falcons (3-7, 8th West) concluded their season on Wednesday evening with a hard-fought playoff match against the top-seeded Redeemer Royals (7-1-2, 1st West), falling by a close score of 1-0. The Birds will look forward to next season where they will be ready to battle on the pitch once again.
